IVAN WONG EE VERN

Ivan obtained his Honours degree in Law in 1989 at the University of Kent at Canterbury, England. He was admitted to the English Bar by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in 1991. After his call to the Malaysian Bar in 1992, Ivan practised as a legal assistant in the legal firm of Messrs Wee Choo Keong & Faaiz until April 1994. Ivan is presently handling the firm’s conveyancing and commercial work and has also been appointed as legal consultant on a retainer basis by Westports Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the owner and operator of Westport, Malaysia.

ROBIN LIM DOU SHING

Robin graduated from the University of Leeds, England in 1989 with an LLB Honours degree. He was called to the English Bar by the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn in 1990. He was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 1991 after chambering with Messrs Khaw & Hussein. He was a Legal Assistant at Messrs Yong & Rakan-Rakan from 1991 doing general litigation before joining Messrs Azim, Ong & Krishnan in April 1993. Whilst at Messrs Azim Ong & Krishnan, Robin was handling both insurance and banking litigation work for various insurance companies and banks. Has wide litigation experience both in insurance and banking law and in general litigation as a whole. He was attached with a Queen’s Counsel in London for three months in 1996. Presently, Robin is the partner in charge of all litigation matters and also undertakes counsel work in respect of arbitration and insurance related matters.

SHIREEN MUNIRA BINTI SAIFUL MADZI

After graduating from UiTM in 2016, Shireen read in chambers at our firm and was admitted to the Bar in May 2016. She was retained as a Legal Associate in April 2017 after completing her pupillage. She was made a partner in October 2022. She is entrusted with doing litigation work for financial institutions and a statutory body responsible for managing public sector financing facilities as well as other foreclosure related matters.
